Flood Zone Determinations include FEMA map information, Flood Zone, BFE, NFIP status and entry date. Also provided is Census Tract data, Coastal Barrier Resource Area (CoBRA) and Letter of Map Change (LOMC) effective dates, where applicable. This product is covered by a full guarantee and is available via a secure website and a variety of standard or custom interfaces.
Assured Flood Compliance
Life of loan service ensures compliance with the Flood Insurance Reform Act of 1994 and safeguards your portfolio from potential expense and liability. In order to identify properties affected by FEMA flood map revisions, proprietary database, Community and Map Status Information System (CAMSIS), maintains records of all current flood map information, which is consolidated from five government sources daily.

This certification recognizes our flood services for its ability to maintain standards of excellence, foster professionalism and advocate quality services within the industry. To qualify as a NFDA Certified Company, our partner submitted to a rigorous examination by peers and independent auditors, confirming its ability to meet or exceed NFDA's industry standards. These stringent standards are based on seven key areas: accuracy, business recovery capabilities, industry experience, financial viability, training of map research analysts, quality assurance, and record-keeping.
Basic Flood Determination:
A guaranteed flood zone determination (FZD) that provides all the required FEMA flood map and community participation status information. A one-time certification that satisfies all federal regulatory and secondary market requirements at origination.
This service includes:
Notice to Borrower for all properties in a Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA).
Indemnification for flood loss claims and fines due to noncompliance.
E & O coverage.
Census tract, Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA), County Code, and State Code data provided in accordance with the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA).
Life of Loan Flood Zone Determination:
A guaranteed FZD that provides all the required FEMA flood map and community participation status information. The FZD is monitored for FEMA flood map revisions and community participation status changes for the term of the loan to maintain compliance with federal regulations and secondary market guidelines. Additionally, our partner’s life of loan FZDs are transferable between servicers. Our Flood Determination partner’s life of loan program assures compliance with the Flood Insurance Reform Act, secondary market guidelines, CFBP regulations, and Biggert-Waters. A Borrower’s notification letter is included with a FZD for properties located in a Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA).
